Since we first launched as a magazine in April 2018 I have shared a playlist with our readers that I’ve made for the season. Admittedly, the playlists are something I first make for myself and I’ve been doing this for decades – as far back as making mixed tapes! However, I have always been glad to share them, and I hope that what helps me might help another. My playlists are a good way to listen to some of what I cannot say in other ways. These playlists are decidedly based on my own tastes in music and therefore may or may not “sing” to you. But perhaps in listening you will hear something that does sing right to your heart where words may fail, or you may introduced to a piece of music or to an artist that you have not been acquainted with before. You can always find the link in our Listen feature as we release a new edition. And here is the link for Kindness if you’d like to listen to it as you read through the good work of fellow Cultivators in this edition.
Happy listening!

The featured image here is one of my favourites – a magpie on my deck in a very late spring snow fall right after we moved in The Havens. It always reminds me of the Lord’s kindness in giving me wonders and beauty in a season where I was deeply broken and thought I might never recover from it. Restoration comes so often carried on the wings of ordinary beauties in extraordinary moments.
