ettina J. Hightower is a follower of her First Love, the Beloved Jesus. As an artist, she desires to honor and glorify Him with the beauty of art.

In high school she was named “top reporter” for the school newspaper, and her penchant for writing continued through college. Her focus shifted toward art when she later attended the University of California at Irvine. She has been creating in both word and image since.

A committed intercessor, Bettina loves to pray for others and Christ’s church. She has taught women’s Bible studies and written a study on the Bride of Christ, which she taught at Holy Trinity Church and in private homes. She has held a passion for helping younger women to grow deeper in their faith and served as a mentor throughout her walk with Christ. Bettina and her husband, Scott, (now with the Lord) enjoyed opening their home to others for sharing meals, Bible studies and fellowship.
days, she can be found reading mystery novels from the Golden Age era and drinking
tea. Her poems have been published in Ekstasis Magazine, The Rabbit Room Poetry
Substack, Calla Press, Clayjar Review, and The Way Back to Ourselves.
